1 May: Praise God that the new Director for Langham Literature, Langham Scholar Dr Hani Hanna (left), is due to start the role in July. Please pray that he will settle quickly.
2 May: Langham Literature’s Library Grant season concludes next month. Pray that the thousands of books sent to Majority World colleges will inspire and deepen knowledge.
3 May: Pray for three new Langham Literature staff who started their roles recently: Nyambura Kamau (Partner Relations in Africa); Sophia Soloviy (Communications & PR) and Hanna Palliser (Administrator).

 | 4 May: Give thanks for the global virtual launch last month of Langham book ‘Can a Christian be Cursed?’ by Godwin O. Adeboye. Please pray that this will be a vital resource for believers as it gives an African evangelical response to a pressing issue.
5 May: Pray that the recently released Portuguese translation of ‘African Public Theology’ will challenge readers to apply biblical principles to their own communities, workplaces and spheres.
6 May: Pray for King Charles III and his family on the occasion of his coronation. |

7 May: Praise God that last month, 80+ leaders from Langham Preaching movements across Latin America met together for a consultation in Peru. Pray for much fruit from this gathering. 8 May: Pray that a Preaching Movement will be firmly established in a South Asian country that cannot be named for security reasons. 9 May: Give thanks for the huge growth that Langham Preaching has seen since it started 20+ years ago. We’re now in 90 countries (started in 2!) and train nearly 10,000 people each year. 10 May: Pray that numerical growth for Langham Preaching wouldn’t result in a lack of depth.

11 May: Pray that God will give strength and grace to Ini Dorcas Dah (right), a member of the Langham Preaching team in Burkina Faso, as she mentors young people day-to-day.
12 May: Pray that God would enable Langham Preaching to facilitate true worship in some Sub-Saharan African churches, where there may be questionable motives for their founding.
13 May: Pray that God will give energy to Oliver Buljat, regional coordinator for Langham Preaching in Southern Europe. |  |

14 May: Pray that God will help Langham Scholar Eli Ezung, from India, in her studies for a PhD at Edinburgh University. She hopes to teach at a Bible College in Nepal upon completion.
15 May: Pray for Josue Fernandez, as he cares for Scholars in Latin America & Caribbean.
16 May: Pray for Scholar Crystal, from East Asia, who’s studying in Australia. She is passionate about raising up leaders in Asia who can read the Bible in Hebrew and deliver faithful preaching.
17 May: Pray for energy and strength for Stefanii Morton, Executive Assistant for the Langham Scholars programme.

18 May: Ask the Lord to bless the ministries of 347 graduated Langham Scholars currently serving in 97 countries around the world.
19 May: Praise God that Langham Scholar ’S’ from the Big Country is moving with his family to more suitable accommodation at Wheaton College, US.
20 May: Pray that Langham Scholar ‘P’, from Indonesia, will finish his dissertation proposal as soon as possible. He’s studying at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Illinois.

21 May: Pray that many new supporters will catch the vision of Langham through this year’s Magnify campaign.
22 May: Today is a ‘Magnify’ roadshow event in Manchester. Pray for an encouraging time.
23 May: Praise God for opportunities Langham has had to publicise ‘Magnify’ in the media. 24 May: Please pray that through the ‘Magnify’ campaign, ambitious goals set for each of the programmes would be reached, and even exceeded!

25 May: Pray that many people would attend and be encouraged by our Langham Live calls on zoom today and tomorrow.
26 May: Pray for a ‘Magnify’ roadshow event taking place tonight in Dumfries.
27 May: Please pray for future ‘Magnify’ roadshow events across the country in the coming months. Pray that many will attend who want to start supporting Langham.
