"It was a fantastic day, the Lord blessed us!"
|

|

Over 70 supporters and staff spent a unique and uplifting day together last month, to give thanks and celebrate the close of Langham UKI’s ‘Magnify’ fundraising campaign.
The day involved a train trip from London Euston to Carlisle; a thanksgiving service with Chris Wright speaking; and a tour round the Langham Service Centre - the beating heart of Langham's global ministries.
Two current Langham Scholars who were in attendance gave two short interviews about their studies and how we can pray for them.
Find out more about the event on our website. |

'Authentic Relationships in an Artificial World' – Prof John Wyatt |
|
|
|
It’s hard to ignore the prevalence of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ (AI) at the moment! It seems to be seeping into many areas of our work, social and personal lives.
So it was timely that this year’s John Stott London Lecture at All Souls, Langham Place, saw Professor John Wyatt outlining the opportunities and challenges of AI, especially from a Christian perspective.
You can watch the lecture, read the transcript, or check out a summary of the key points.

'Exploring the New Testament in Asia' launched Langham recently published ‘Exploring the New Testament in Asia’, a collection of essays offering theological reflections - from an Asian perspective - on topics such as salvation, poverty, ethnic tensions and reconciliation.
Langham Graduate Chee-Chiew Lee contributed an essay on persecution, a pressing issue for the Global Church. Watch the launch of the book, in collaboration with the Asia Theological Association, and buy the book on Langham Literature’s website.

November's Langham Live: A Reflection with Rev Dr Lina Toth

|
Dear ,
This is an extract from Day 16 of 'Joyful All Ye Nations Rise', written by Langham-published author Julijana Mladenovska-Tešija, from Croatia.
"In the fourth verse of “Angels, from the Realms of Glory,” seeing Jesus is everywhere! The saints, fervently looking for “the Lord descending” and “appearing in his temple,” are in the centre, as is their worship at the altar, where they express their deep desire to give all the praise and glory to God Almighty. Interestingly, worship itself contains seeing because Christian worship involves the ability to see what is hidden to the others, to see and believe the prophecy by the eyes of faith. It includes waiting patiently “in hope and fear” for the fulfilment of the prophecy: the first coming of the Messiah for saints past and the moment of seeing the Lord face to face for us today (1 Corinthians 13:12).
...There is no better way for us to remain close to our Lord but to be steadfast in worship and so to be consistently confronted by His love and comfort."
With Christian greetings this Christmas,
John Libby, National Director, LPUKI
